Overview

When event details are collected through Gravity Forms, visitors need a clear way to find dates and see what is scheduled. GravityCalendar uses form entries as calendar events, reducing the need to enter the same information in a separate calendar. It can fit appointment, booking, event registration, and schedule pages on business, education, and community websites.

Visitors can move between calendar months and select events to view details. Site owners can adjust colors, fonts, layouts, and event information, and offer monthly, weekly, or daily views. Filtering options let visitors narrow events by category, date range, or custom criteria. The responsive calendar is designed to display across screen sizes, including phones and tablets.

Features

  • Gravity Forms entries: Display event information from existing Gravity Forms entries as calendar events, connecting submitted dates with the schedules visitors see.
  • Interactive navigation: Visitors can move between months and select calendar events to view their details.
  • Custom display options: Adjust calendar colors, fonts, layouts, and event information to suit the look and content of your website.
  • Multiple calendar views: Present events in monthly, weekly, or daily views so visitors can browse schedules at different time scales.
  • Event filtering: Let visitors filter calendar events by category, date range, or custom criteria to find relevant items.
  • Recurring events: Display repeating schedules, such as weekly classes, regular meetings, or recurring appointments.
  • Responsive calendar: Show the calendar across screen sizes, including smartphones and tablets, for visitors browsing on different devices.

Best for

  • Businesses managing appointments or bookings
  • Schools and educators publishing schedules

Changelog

Version 2.25.0 — 15 October 2026

  • Improved All calendar text, including "all-day", "+3 more", and button tooltips, can now be translated or reworded with a translation plugin such as Loco Translate.
  • Improved Calendars set to a language other than the site's now download that language's translation automatically when their settings are saved.
  • Security Improved security when moving and resizing events on the calendar.
  • Fixed Calendars set to a language other than the site's displayed some text in the wrong language: - "all-day", "+3 more", "No events to display", and the Previous and Next button tooltips always appeared in English; - Toolbar buttons such as Today, Month, Week, and Day used the site language instead of the calendar's Localization setting.
  • Fixed Timed events from external calendar feeds (such as Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCloud) appeared at their original time in the feed's time zone instead of being converted to the site's time zone like the calendar's own events.
  • Fixed All-day events in calendar subscription links had incorrect end dates: one-day events ended on the day they started, and events without an end date ran until the subscription was last updated.
  • Fixed Resizing an event to span several days on a calendar without an End Date field changed the event's start date instead of undoing the resize.
  • Improved The calendar's language downloads respect Foundation's `gk/foundation/translations/disable-download` filter, so a site that turns off translation downloads gets none.
  • Removed Deprecated the `gravityview/calendar/scripts/fullcalendar/locales_dir_url` filter. The calendar no longer loads FullCalendar's locale files, so the filter has no effect. Change the calendar's text with a translation or with the `gravityview/calendar/options` filter, whose values still take priority.
  • Improved [Carbon](https://carbon.nesbot.com/) date library to version 2.73.0, which includes the fix for [CVE-2025-22145](https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-j3f9-p6hm-5w6q) (GravityCalendar does not use the affected function, so sites were not exposed) and restores translation files left out of earlier releases.
  • Improved [Foundation](https://www.gravitykit.com/foundation/) to version 1.37.0.

Earlier versions

  • 2.24.0 (8 October 2026): 6 improved, 4 fixed, 1 security
