How to update
Our updater plugin brings new versions of the products you get from us into your WordPress dashboard, like any other update. Install it once on each site, and from then on it checks for new versions by itself.
- Get your key
Log in and open My Account → Updater, then click Copy. - Download the updater
On the same page, download the updater plugin. - Install it
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins › Add Plugin › Upload Plugin, upload the file, then click Install Now and Activate Plugin. - Paste your key
In the WordPress menu, go to Dashboard › GPL 247 Updater. Paste your key under Your key and click Connect. The updater then lists the products on your site that we update. - Install updates
New versions appear under Dashboard › Updates and on the Plugins and Themes screens. Install them in one click, as usual.
The updater can also install new versions for you. Open its Automatic updates tab, turn on Update my products by themselves and choose the days and time. Before each update, the updater saves the version you had, so you can always go back to it.

How many sites can I use the updater on?
All your sites, with the same key. My Account → Domains lists them, and there you can remove a site you no longer use.
Can I go back to the version I had before?
Yes. Before each update, the updater saves a copy of the version you had. To go back, open the updater’s Restore tab and click Restore next to the product. On the same tab you can choose how many days the copies are kept.
Do updates keep my settings?
Yes. An update replaces only the product’s files. Its settings and your content stay in your site’s database. It is still a good idea to back up your site before a big update.
Can I update without the updater?
Yes. Download the new version, upload it over the old one and click Replace current with uploaded when WordPress offers it. How to install a plugin or theme shows how.
What happens to updates when my plan ends?
New updates stop until you renew. Everything you installed keeps working as it is.
If something goes wrong
The updater does not accept my key
Copy the key again from My Account → Updater, with no space before or after it. If you made a new key, the old one stops working, so paste the new key on every site.
A product shows no update
New versions reach the store a short while after the developer releases them. Check that your plan is active and that the product is listed on the updater’s page, then click Check now there.
The updater says my daily download limit is used up
Each product the updater updates counts as one download for the day. The count starts again every day at midnight UTC. My Account → Membership shows how many downloads your plan allows each day.
The updater says it cannot send updates right now
Please try again a little later. If it still happens the next day, write to us.
The updater says my membership no longer includes the product
Your plan has ended, or the product was bought on its own and its updates have run out. Renew in My Account → Membership to get updates again.
