Refund policy
This policy explains when you can get a refund for a plan or a single product bought from GPL 247, and how to ask for one. It doesn’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.
The short version
- Haven’t downloaded anything yet? Ask within 14 days of paying and we’ll refund you in full.
- Something doesn’t work and we can’t fix it? We’ll refund you.
- Changed your mind after downloading? We can’t refund that, because a download can’t be given back.
- Want to stop your plan? Cancel any time in My Account. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Plans
Can I get a refund on a new plan?
Yes. If you ask within 14 days of paying and you haven’t downloaded any product, we’ll refund the full amount. This applies to the Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime plans.
Downloads count whether they’re made from the store or through the GPL 247 Updater on one of your sites.
What if I’ve already downloaded something?
Products are delivered instantly and a download can’t be returned, so once you’ve downloaded your first product, we can’t give a refund for a change of mind. At checkout, you agree to get access straight away on that basis.
If a product you downloaded doesn’t work, see Faulty products.
My plan renewed and I didn’t mean to keep it. Can I get that payment back?
Yes, if you contact us within 7 days of the renewal date and you haven’t downloaded anything since it renewed. We’ll refund the renewal and cancel the plan.
Do you refund the unused part of a plan?
No. If you cancel part-way through a month or a year, your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and then stops. We don’t refund the time that’s left.
Single products
Can I get a refund on a product I bought on its own?
Yes, if you ask within 14 days of paying and you haven’t downloaded it. After you’ve downloaded it, we can only refund it if it’s faulty.
I bought a single product and then took out a plan. Can I get the product refunded?
If you haven’t downloaded the single product, yes, within 14 days of buying it. If you have downloaded it, no.
Faulty products
What counts as faulty?
A product is faulty if:
- the zip file is damaged or won’t upload,
- it won’t install or activate on a version of WordPress and PHP the developer supports, on a site without conflicting plugins, or
- it isn’t the product or version described on its page.
What happens if a product is faulty?
Tell us which product it is and what went wrong. We’ll try to fix it first, usually by giving you a working file. If we can’t fix it within a reasonable time, we’ll refund the product. For a plan, we’ll agree a full or partial refund with you, depending on what you’ve been able to use.
Is it faulty if it doesn’t work with my other plugins or my hosting?
Not usually. Conflicts with other plugins, themes, custom code or server settings aren’t faults in the product. We’re happy to point you in the right direction, but we can’t refund for them. Check the requirements on the product page before you download.
What isn’t covered
What can’t I get a refund for?
We can’t give refunds for:
- a change of mind after you’ve downloaded a product,
- not having the developer’s licence key or the developer’s own support,
- features that need the developer’s servers, such as cloud services, AI credits, demo imports or remote libraries,
- conflicts with other plugins, themes, code or hosting,
- reaching your daily download limit,
- a product being changed or removed from the store after you’ve downloaded it,
- a plan you forgot to cancel, if you ask more than 7 days after it renewed or you’ve downloaded since.
Why don’t you refund for missing licence keys or developer support?
Every product is the developer’s own code, distributed under the GPL. GPL 247 isn’t connected with the developers, so licence keys and the developer’s support aren’t part of what you buy. Each product page and our Help and FAQ say this before you buy.
Asking for a refund
How do I ask for a refund?
Contact us using the email address on your account. Tell us your order number and why you’re asking. If a product is faulty, include its name, your WordPress and PHP versions, and any error message you see.
How long does it take?
We reply within 2 working days. Once we’ve agreed a refund, we send it to the card or account you paid with within 14 days. Your bank or payment provider may take a few more days to show it.
What happens to my account after a refund?
The plan or product we refunded stops: you can’t download it from the store, and your GPL 247 Updater key stops getting updates for it.
Should I open a dispute with my bank instead?
Please contact us first. We can usually sort things out faster than a dispute, which can take weeks. While a dispute is open, we may pause downloads on your account until it’s settled.
Your legal rights
Does this policy affect my rights?
No. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live. In some countries, for example, digital content must be as described and of satisfactory quality, and you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund if it isn’t. Where those rights apply, they come first.
Can this policy change?
Yes. If we change it, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. The version in place when you paid is the one that applies to that payment.
