PublishPress Series Pro

When related articles are spread across a site, readers may have trouble finding their place in a longer story or topic. PublishPress Series Pro lets you group posts into series and arrange their order, including inserting a post in the middle of an existing series. Posts can also be assigned to more than one series, which helps organize content that belongs to multiple topics.

Manage series from a central area, group them into categories, and control the publication of their posts collectively. The plugin can display series information on posts in a customizable format, and shortcodes let you place series details in posts or pages. It also supports custom post types, so series can include content beyond standard WordPress posts.

Features

• Arrange posts in order: Add posts to an existing series or create a new one. Insert a post into the middle of a series and the order adjusts automatically.
• Manage series centrally: Add, edit, or delete series from one management area, and upload images to represent individual series.
• Control series publishing: Use the Publish Series screen to schedule, publish, or unpublish all posts in a series together.
• Show series details: Display series-related information on posts in a customizable format, giving readers context about each post's place in a series.
• Work with custom post types: Use series with custom post types as well as standard posts, so the feature can cover different kinds of site content.
• Assign posts to multiple series: Connect a single post to multiple series when it relates to more than one topic or storyline.
• Add series details with shortcodes: Place series information in posts or pages with shortcodes, and customize templates with tokens for details such as the series slug, author, thumbnail, or post date.
