wpForo - MemberPress Integration

When a site offers different membership plans, forum access can be difficult to manage alongside those plans. This plugin lets you assign forum permissions by plan, so selected categories, forums, and sub-forums can be reserved for particular members. Use it to create private discussion areas and set different access levels for members with different plans.

The plugin works with wpForo and MemberPress, applying membership-based access rules to forum spaces. You can set permissions such as read-only access or full participation, and membership plan restrictions take precedence over default wpForo usergroup permissions. This gives site owners a way to manage forum visibility and participation according to their membership structure.

Features

• Plan-based forum access: Assign access to wpForo forums according to MemberPress plans, so specific discussion areas are available to the members you choose.
• Read or participate: Set different forum access levels for each plan, including read-only access and full participation.
• Private discussion areas: Restrict selected forums, categories, or sub-forums to members with the relevant plan.
• Custom permissions: Define and assign forum permission sets through the wpForo admin dashboard to control what members can view and do.
• Plan rules take precedence: Membership plan restrictions override default wpForo usergroup permissions, aligning forum access with member plans.
• Default access setting: Set default forum access for all membership plans using a dropdown menu.
