wpForo Emoticons

Plain text can make it harder for forum members to convey reactions and subtle emotions in a post. wpForo Emoticons adds emoticons and stickers to the wpForo post editor, where members can choose an image to include in their conversations. Its emoticon packs offer color variations, giving forum owners a choice of styles for their community.

Administrators can manage emoticon groups from the backend, including creating and renaming groups, adjusting image sizes, and controlling visibility. They can also upload images, assign names and codes, reorder emoticons, and move them between groups. A live preview in the post editor lets members see how an emoticon will appear before posting.

Features

• Emoticon color groups: Choose from emoticon packs with six color variations, with up to 80 emoticons in each color group.
• Post editor button: An emoticon and sticker button appears at the bottom right of the wpForo post editor for inserting images into forum posts.
• Manage emoticon groups: Create and rename groups, adjust emoticon sizes, and control which groups are visible to forum members.
• Upload custom images: Add your own emoticon images, assign each a name and code, and organize them within groups.
• Reorder and move emoticons: Change the order of emoticons and move them between groups to organize the options available in your forum.
• Live editor preview: Preview emoticons in the forum post editor so members can see how an image will appear before they publish a post.
