wpForo Advanced Attachments

Forum discussions often need more than text. This plugin lets members attach images, documents, audio, video, and other permitted file types to topics and posts. Multiple files can be added at once, and members can insert attachments within post text to place them alongside related discussion.

Uploads can use drag and drop, with file validation handled without a page reload. Members can reuse files from their individual media libraries, while a lightbox slider displays attached media with navigation controls. Forum administrators can set file type and size limits, and use wpForo user groups to control who can upload or view attachments.

Features

• Attach multiple files: Members can add multiple files to forum topics and posts, including images, videos, audio, and other permitted file types.
• Insert files in posts: Place attachments within post text so files appear alongside the discussion they relate to.
• Drag-and-drop uploads: Members can drag files into the browser window to upload them, with validation handled without reloading the page.
• Individual media libraries: Each user has a separate media library, where attachments can be organized and reused across topics and posts.
• Media lightbox slider: Attached images, videos, and audio can be viewed in a lightbox slider with navigation controls.
• File and access controls: Set allowed file types and maximum upload size, and control upload or viewing access through wpForo user groups.
