Overview
WooCommerce sales data shows revenue, while product costs help explain how much a store earns from those sales. This plugin lets you assign costs to products and variations, then records those costs in orders at the time of sale. That keeps historical order costs accurate if product costs change later.
Use reports to review net sales, cost of goods sold, and profit by date, product, or category. You can also identify products with higher or lower profits, apply costs to previous orders, and view inventory value based on retail price or cost. Cost and profit data can be exported in CSV format.
Features
- Product and variation costs: Assign cost values to simple products and product variations to include their costs in profit calculations.
- Costs recorded in orders: Costs are recorded when a sale takes place, preserving the order's cost data if product costs change later.
- Profit by date: Review net sales, cost of goods sold, total profit, and average profit per order across a custom date range.
- Product and category reports: Compare profit across products and categories to see which parts of your catalog contribute more or less.
- Historical order costs: Apply product costs to previous orders after adding cost values, so you can review profit from earlier sales.
- Inventory valuation: View total inventory value based on retail price or cost of goods for stock and financial planning.
- Cost data exports: Export profit and cost reports in CSV format, and include cost data in order exports with compatible export suites.
