Gifting for WooCommerce Subscriptions

Subscription products can be difficult to give as gifts, especially when the recipient needs to provide their own account or shipping details. This plugin lets the buyer enter the recipient’s email during purchase. The recipient is notified and guided through setting up their profile and shipping details, making the product suitable for gifting services, memberships, and virtual products.

The buyer and recipient can both access and manage the gifted subscription. They can view renewal orders, update shipping information, and suspend or cancel the subscription. Store pages and orders show who purchased the subscription and who received it. For subscriptions connected to WooCommerce Memberships, the recipient receives the membership benefits.

Features

• Gift a subscription: Customers enter the recipient’s email when purchasing a subscription product as a gift.
• Recipient onboarding: The plugin creates an account for the recipient, sends an email notification, and guides them through profile and shipping details.
• Shared subscription controls: Both buyer and recipient can access the subscription, view renewal orders, update shipping information, and suspend or cancel it.
• Membership benefits: When a gifted subscription is connected to WooCommerce Memberships, the recipient receives its membership benefits.
• Gift ownership details: Relevant pages and orders display who purchased the subscription and who receives it.
• Shared subscription emails: Customizable email alerts can keep both the buyer and recipient informed about subscription events, including renewals.
