Overview

Store credit gives customers a way to use their refund or gift balance on future purchases. With WooCommerce Store Credit, you can create credit coupons and send them by email. Customers can use the balance across multiple orders until it runs out or the coupon expires, which suits stores that want to offer credit instead of returning funds.

Set coupons to apply to specific products or categories, cover shipping, or work with other coupons. Customers can use credit toward part of an order and pay the remaining amount with another payment method. You can also choose whether the coupon applies before or after taxes, giving store owners control over how credit is calculated.

Features

  • Reusable credit balance: Customers can redeem a store credit coupon across multiple purchases until the balance is used or the coupon expires.
  • Product and category rules: Limit a credit coupon to selected products or categories to control which items customers can purchase with it.
  • Partial order payments: Customers can apply credit to an order and use another payment method for any amount that exceeds the available balance.
  • Shipping cost coverage: Allow store credit coupons to apply to shipping costs as well as eligible order items.
  • Tax calculation choice: Choose whether the store credit coupon is applied before or after taxes when calculating the order.
  • Email credit coupons: Automatically email unique store credit coupons, with options to customize the message and its format.

Best for

  • WooCommerce stores offering credit instead of refunds
  • Online shops issuing gift or compensation credit
  • Stores running product-specific credit promotions
