Overview

Managing add-ons for a membership site can mean keeping track of updates as well as the files used to add features. Paid Memberships Pro – Update Manager brings add-on update management into the WordPress dashboard, where site owners can see notifications and update their Paid Memberships Pro add-ons.

The plugin also handles add-on and theme downloads over HTTPS and verifies SSL for add-on downloads. These capabilities suit site owners who want to manage Paid Memberships Pro add-ons from their dashboard and have secure requests used when retrieving add-on or theme files.

Features

  • Update notifications: Receive notifications when updates are available for Paid Memberships Pro add-ons, so you can review update availability from your WordPress dashboard.
  • Dashboard add-on updates: Update Paid Memberships Pro add-ons directly from the WordPress dashboard instead of handling add-on updates separately.
  • HTTPS file requests: Add-on and theme downloads are requested over HTTPS, providing an encrypted connection for these file requests.
  • SSL verification: Add-on downloads use SSL verification, so download requests check the security of the connection.
  • Add-on management: Manage add-ons associated with Paid Memberships Pro through a plugin focused on their updates and downloads.

  • Paid membership site owners
  • Sites using Paid Memberships Pro add-ons
