Overview

Use MEC Ticket and Invoice to manage ticket sales and invoicing for events listed with Modern Events Calendar. Organizers can create ticket categories, collect additional details from attendees during checkout, and display current ticket availability. Attendees receive their tickets and invoices by email, while organizers can track payments and maintain transaction records from the WordPress backend.

The add-on also supports event entry tasks. QR codes on tickets can be scanned for attendee check-in, and organizers can assign team roles for scanning and entry management. Invoice tools include options to manage or resend invoices and export reports. Ticket and invoice templates can include company details such as an address, VAT number, and logo.

Features

  • Online ticket sales: Accept event ticket payments through PayPal, Stripe, or Square on your site, and manage ticket sales alongside event bookings.
  • Ticket categories: Set up different ticket types, including VIP, general admission, and multi-day passes, to suit the format of each event.
  • Attendee information: Collect extra details during ticket purchases, such as dietary restrictions or seating preferences, to keep attendee information with bookings.
  • Email tickets and invoices: Send e-tickets and invoices to attendees by email, with purchase summaries and tax receipt details for their records.
  • QR code check-in: Scan ticket QR codes with a dedicated Android or iOS scanner app to check attendees in at event entry points.
  • Invoice management: Manage and resend invoices, track payments, and export reports from the WordPress backend.
