Envira Gallery - Fullscreen Addon

A standard lightbox can leave images and videos surrounded by webpage elements. This addon gives visitors the option to expand an Envira Gallery lightbox into fullscreen mode, letting the media fill the screen. It uses the browser’s built-in fullscreen support to present gallery content in a larger viewing area.

Enable fullscreen for a gallery from its Config tab. A fullscreen icon then appears in the Envira Gallery lightbox toolbar, where visitors can use it to enter fullscreen mode. If a visitor’s browser does not support fullscreen, the icon is disabled. Closing the lightbox also exits fullscreen mode.

Features

• Fullscreen viewing: Visitors can expand images and videos in an Envira Gallery lightbox to fill the screen using the browser’s built-in fullscreen support.
• Gallery-level setting: Turn fullscreen functionality on or off from the gallery’s Config tab, so you can choose which galleries offer the viewing option.
• Lightbox toolbar icon: When fullscreen is enabled, an icon appears in the Envira Gallery lightbox toolbar for visitors to enter fullscreen mode.
• Browser support handling: The fullscreen icon is disabled automatically when a visitor’s browser does not support fullscreen mode.
• Exit with lightbox: When visitors close the gallery lightbox, fullscreen mode closes as well, returning them to the webpage.
• Images and videos: The fullscreen viewing option works with gallery images and videos, giving visitors a larger view of visual content.
