Envira Gallery - Comments Addon

A gallery can display images without giving visitors a place to respond to each one. This addon adds comments to individual images, so photographers, artists, and other creators can invite feedback alongside their visual work. Comments can help visitors share thoughts about a particular photo or artwork, rather than leaving feedback detached from the image.

The addon uses your site's existing WordPress comment system for comment management and moderation. You can customize how comments appear and control moderation, then enable comments for the Envira galleries where they fit. Comments also load in the lightbox, including for images on other pagination pages, so visitors can take part while viewing gallery images.

Features

• Comments on images: Let visitors leave comments on individual images within Envira galleries, giving each photo or artwork its own place for feedback.
• WordPress comment system: Use your site's existing WordPress comment system to manage and moderate gallery discussions alongside other site comments.
• Custom comment settings: Customize how comments are displayed and control moderation, including whether comments need approval.
• Choose galleries: Enable comments on any or all of your Envira galleries, according to the type of content you want visitors to discuss.
• Comments in lightbox: Display comments in the lightbox, including for images on other pagination pages when all images are shown in the lightbox.
• Like button feedback: The Like button provides a clear message when comment settings are missing, rather than failing silently.
