Overview

DNS changes can take time to appear consistently across servers. Global DNS checks records from multiple DNS servers and shows which servers resolve a domain and what information they return. This gives site owners and administrators a way to review propagation and troubleshoot differences after changing DNS settings.

The plugin checks record types including A, MX, NS, CNAME, and TXT, with support for ten distinct types and an unlimited number of DNS servers. It also includes a DKIM record checker, options to export propagation results as CSV or JSON, and shareable read-only propagation snapshots. Dark Mode is available from the admin dashboard.
