BuddyPress Auto Activate Auto Login

BuddyPress sites often ask new users to confirm their accounts by email before they can participate. This plugin changes that registration flow by activating accounts as soon as users sign up and logging them in automatically. New users can move from registration into the community without waiting for an activation email.

The plugin works with BuddyPress registration workflows and requires no additional configuration. It supports standard WordPress and Multisite registrations, including username-only and username-with-blog signups. After login, users can be sent to their profile page, or site owners can set redirects based on user roles.

Features

• Automatic account activation: New user accounts are activated immediately after registration, removing the email confirmation step from the BuddyPress signup flow.
• Login after signup: The plugin logs users in automatically after they register, taking them directly into an active session on the site.
• Redirect after login: New users can be redirected to their profile page after login, giving them a direct starting point in the community.
• Role-based destinations: Set redirect destinations based on user roles to direct different groups to relevant areas after they log in.
• Multisite registration support: The plugin handles WordPress Multisite signups, including registrations with a username alone or a username and blog.
• Developer filter hooks: Filter hooks let developers disable automatic activation conditionally or adjust activation and login behavior.
