BookingPress - Waiting List Addon

When a popular appointment time is fully booked, customers can join a waiting list instead of leaving without a way to claim that time. BookingPress – Waiting List Addon adds this option to BookingPress, giving appointment-based businesses a way to record interest in unavailable slots. It can support businesses with multiple appointment types and staff members.

If an appointment is canceled or moved, the addon emails the next customer on the waiting list about the newly available slot. That customer can confirm the opening before others on the list. This helps businesses offer freed appointment times to interested customers without relying on manual follow-ups, and gives customers a way to respond when their preferred time becomes available.

Features

• Waitlist for full slots: Customers can join a waiting list for appointment times that are fully booked, giving them a way to request a preferred slot.
• Email availability alerts: When a cancellation or rescheduling opens a slot, the addon sends an email to the next customer on the waiting list.
• First come confirmation: The earliest customer on the waiting list gets the chance to confirm the newly available appointment slot before others.
• BookingPress extension: The addon works with BookingPress to add waiting-list functionality to its appointment booking experience.
• Multiple appointment types: Businesses can use the waiting list for different appointment types and across multiple staff members.
• Fewer manual follow-ups: Automated alerts let customers know when a slot opens, reducing the need for businesses to contact waitlisted customers manually.
