Mediabay - WordPress Media Library Folders

As a media library grows, images, videos, audio files, and documents can be harder to locate. Mediabay adds folders and nested subfolders to help you arrange those files by topic, date, or another system that works for your site. This gives your library a clearer structure and helps you find media when you need it.

The plugin works within the WordPress dashboard, where you can upload and organize files in the media library. Move files with drag and drop, and place different media types in the same folder structure. Adding files to folders does not change their file URLs, so existing media links remain intact.

Features

• Folders and subfolders: Create folders and nested subfolders in the WordPress media library to sort files into a hierarchy that fits your site.
• Drag and drop sorting: Move media files between folders with a drag-and-drop interface inside the WordPress media library.
• Multiple media types: Organize images, videos, audio files, and other media in one folder structure.
• Preserved file URLs: Add media to folders without changing its file URL, keeping existing links to those files intact.
• Upload and organize: Upload multiple files and manage them in categorized folders within the media library.
