Meta Box Favorite Posts

Visitors can save posts and custom post types as favorites, much like adding items to a wishlist. The feature can serve directories, book review sites, online stores, blogs, and other WordPress sites where people may want to keep track of content. Both guests and logged-in users can bookmark items, so site owners can make favorites available without requiring registration.

The bookmark button can appear before or after content, or at a chosen location through a shortcode. Logged-in users can view and manage saved posts in a dashboard created with MB User Profile. The plugin also works with posts, pages, and custom post types, making it useful for sites with different kinds of content.

Features

• Save posts and content: Visitors can bookmark posts and custom post types, then return to their saved items when they want to revisit the content.
• Guest bookmarking: Guests can save favorites without registering, while logged-in users can also use the bookmarking feature.
• Personal favorites dashboard: With MB User Profile, logged-in users can view and manage their favorite posts from a personal dashboard.
• Flexible button placement: Place the bookmark button before or after content, or use the mbfp-button shortcode to position it elsewhere on the site.
• Support for post types: Use favorites with WordPress posts, pages, and custom post types, including content such as listings and reviews.
• Bundled Meta Box extensions: The plugin includes MB Settings Page, MB User Profile, and MB User Meta for its settings and user profile features.
