Meta Box Tabs

Long meta boxes can make content editing forms harder to navigate. Meta Box Tabs groups related custom fields into tabs, giving editors a more organized view in the WordPress admin. Developers can set tab titles and assign fields to each tab through parameters, without rewriting existing meta box code.

Tabs can appear at the top or on the left, and can include icons. The plugin uses the familiar WordPress tab style, with support for Dashicons, other icon fonts, and custom images. It can also remove the default meta box wrapper. When a validation error is tied to a field on another tab, the interface can switch to that tab and scroll to the error.
