Overview
Form submissions can include insults, profanity, threats, or other abusive language. This plugin checks entries for toxicity so site teams can decide how to handle flagged content before it reaches a public-facing part of a site. It suits forms that collect user-generated posts, testimonials, or other submissions that need human review.
Set a toxicity threshold and choose which attributes to monitor, such as insults, profanity, or threats. You can also add custom words to flag. For flagged entries, choose deletion or review in the Toxic Entry Box, and set conditional confirmation messages or notification routing for toxic submissions.
Features
- Toxicity screening: Use Google’s Perspective API to check form entries for harmful language, including insults, profanity, and threats.
- Adjustable threshold: Set a toxicity sensitivity threshold from 0 to 1 to control which entries are flagged for moderation.
- Attribute selection: Choose specific toxicity attributes to monitor, including toxicity, insults, profanity, and threats.
- Custom word lists: Add custom words to flag in submissions, with the option to use those words without a Perspective API key.
- Choose entry handling: Delete toxic submissions or send them to the Toxic Entry Box, where site teams can review flagged entries in the WordPress dashboard.
- Conditional messages: Show custom confirmation messages or send specialized notifications based on whether a submission is flagged as abusive.
- Notification routing: Send notification emails for toxic submissions to different recipients, or suppress those notifications.
