Ultimate Member - User Notes

Community sites often need a place to keep reminders or share information connected to a member’s profile. Ultimate Member – User Notes adds note management to user profiles, where notes appear in a dedicated tab. Members can choose to keep a note private or make it public, giving them control over how they share information within the community.

Members can save notes as drafts while they prepare them, then edit or delete notes as needed. The plugin also works with Ultimate Member’s Social Activity extension to show notes in the social feed, and its Friends extension can restrict note visibility to friends. These options suit communities that want profile-based notes alongside social features.

Features

• Private and public notes: Members can create notes for private use or make them public, choosing how each note is shared.
• Profile notes tab: Notes appear in a separate tab on user profiles, giving members a dedicated place to find and manage them.
• Save notes as drafts: Members can save notes as drafts before publishing, allowing them to prepare content before sharing it.
• Edit or delete notes: Members can edit or delete their notes, keeping control over the content they add to profiles.
• Social Activity feed: Integration with the Social Activity extension lets new notes appear in the community’s social feed.
• Friends-only visibility: When used with the Friends extension, notes can be restricted so that only a member’s friends can see them.
