Overview

Community members can miss activity when updates are only visible after they revisit a page. This extension sends notifications in real time without requiring a page refresh. It covers events such as role changes, comments on users’ posts, replies to comments, and profile views, so members can stay informed while using the site.

The extension also supports notifications for bbPress topic replies and activity from Ultimate Member extensions such as User Reviews and myCRED. Site admins can enable or disable notification types, while users can choose which alerts they receive. Each user has a page for reviewing past notifications and can delete older items from the feed.

Features

Live activity alerts: Users receive notifications as activity happens, without refreshing the page to check for updates.
Core activity coverage: Send alerts for role changes, comments on a user's posts, replies to comments, and profile views.
bbPress topic replies: Notify users when someone replies to topics they created or replies to them in a bbPress forum topic.
Extension activity alerts: Provide notifications about reviews and ratings from User Reviews, along with point awards from myCRED.
Notification preferences: Admins can enable or disable notification types, and users can select which notifications they want to receive.
Personal notification page: Give each user a page to review past notifications and delete older items from their feed.
