BuddyPress Auto Friendship Pro

New users can arrive at a community site without any existing social connections. This plugin lets admins set up lists of users to connect with new members automatically, as friends, followers, or people they follow. Lists can apply across the site or use conditions based on profile fields, user roles, and member types, so connections can reflect how a community is organized.

Admins can also create connections between existing users with the BuddyPress Connection Creator tool, or manage relationships in bulk across the community. Group activity can inform social connections too, with relationships adjusted in response to users joining or leaving groups. These tools suit BuddyPress and BuddyBoss sites that want to guide connections during onboarding and manage social links beyond registration.

Features

• Automatic social connections: Set new users to be connected as friends, followers, or following members according to lists and conditions defined by the site admin.
• Custom connection lists: Create multiple lists for friendship, follower, or following relationships to control which users are included in automated connections.
• Conditional targeting: Apply lists site-wide or target new users using conditions based on profile fields, user roles, and member types.
• Manual connection creation: Use the BuddyPress Connection Creator tool to make friend or follower connections between any two users.
• Bulk relationship management: Create or synchronize friendship and following relationships across existing users to manage connections throughout the community.
• Group-based relationship changes: Tie social relationships to group participation, with connections adjusted as users enter or exit groups.
• BuddyPress and BuddyBoss support: Use the plugin on BuddyPress and BuddyBoss sites, with friendship and follow options depending on the components available.
