Paid Member Subscriptions Recurring Payments for PayPal Standard

Managing recurring membership payments manually can take time and make it harder to keep member access in step with payment status. This add-on lets your Paid Member Subscriptions site bill members automatically on a chosen schedule through PayPal Standard. It supports one-time charges as well as recurring subscriptions, giving site owners payment options for different plans.

Configure payment settings from the WordPress dashboard, including currency and price display. PayPal Instant Payment Notifications provide payment status updates, while Sandbox testing lets you check subscription workflows before accepting live payments. Members can also upgrade or downgrade their plans, and PayPal Standard can be enabled alongside other payment gateways.

Features

• Automated recurring billing: Set a billing schedule for membership plans and let PayPal Standard process recurring payments automatically.
• Trials and sign-up fees: Configure free trials and sign-up fees for recurring subscriptions to suit the payment terms of your plans.
• Member plan changes: Allow members to upgrade or downgrade their subscription plans, with changes managed through the membership site.
• Payment status updates: PayPal Instant Payment Notifications send payment status updates to support member access management and transaction processing.
