Overview
When a course catalog covers several subjects or skill levels, learners may need help finding a clear route through the available material. This plugin lets administrators group related LearnPress courses into collections, such as topic-based sets or structured learning paths. Curated groups give students a way to browse courses in context and follow a planned sequence.
Administrators create and manage collections in the LearnPress dashboard, where they can add courses and set their order. On the front end, collections can use grid or list layouts, sorting, and pagination. The add-on also separates collections from learning paths, giving each type its own behavior. It suits LearnPress sites that want to organize courses into focused groups.
Features
- Group related courses: Create collections that bring courses together by subject, skill level, or difficulty, helping learners browse related material as a group.
- Build learning paths: Arrange courses into learning paths that guide students through a chosen subject or progression, with the configured course order reflected on the front end.
- Choose collection layouts: Display collections in grid or list layouts, with sorting and pagination to organize how learners browse the courses in each group.
- Manage collections in LearnPress: Create, edit, remove, and reorder collections from the LearnPress dashboard, keeping course groups organized from the site administration area.
- Add courses with search: Use the Course Bank popup in the collection editor to search for courses and add them to a collection, with pagination for browsing results.
- Set course display limits: Choose how many courses appear on each page within a collection, so administrators can control how course listings are presented.
