LearnPress Announcements Add-on

Course updates can be easy for learners to miss when they are shared outside the learning environment. This add-on lets instructors and administrators send announcements to students enrolled in specific courses. Messages can cover class schedules, course materials, exam dates, or other updates, and appear directly on the relevant course page.

A centralized admin panel provides tools to create, edit, filter, and delete course announcements. Instructors can also enable email notifications so students can receive updates when they are away from the site. The add-on is designed for LearnPress-powered eLearning websites that need a way to share course information with the right group of learners.

Features

• Course-specific messages: Send announcements to students enrolled in selected courses, so each message reaches learners connected to that course.
• In-course display: Show announcements on the single course page, where students can see updates while viewing course information.
• Optional email notices: Enable email notifications for announcements so students can receive course updates when they are not logged into the site.
• Central announcement panel: Create, edit, filter, and delete course announcements from a centralized admin panel.
• Instructor communication: Give course instructors a place to manage announcements and share reminders or other information with enrolled learners.
• Updates for administrators: Site administrators can use the add-on to communicate course news and information to students enrolled in specific courses.
