Formidable Test Mode

Testing a form on a live site can affect the entries stored in its database. Formidable Test Mode separates test submissions from real entries, so site owners and developers can check how a form behaves without adding test data to the live records. Use it while troubleshooting errors, refining form logic, or reviewing the experience before forms are used by site visitors.

A toggle lets you switch test mode on or off as you move between testing and live form use. In the testing environment, you can check form functionality, including conditional logic, calculations, and integrations. This makes the plugin useful for teams working on complex forms as well as site administrators who need to verify a form before it is used on a WordPress site.

Features

• Separate test entries: Keep test submissions isolated from real form entries, helping protect the accuracy of live data in your production database.
• Switch test mode: Use a toggle to turn test mode on or off when moving between testing forms and live form use.
• Check form behavior: Test form functionality in a controlled setting to identify and troubleshoot errors before forms are used live.
• Test advanced forms: Check forms that use conditional logic, calculations, or multiple integrations while test data stays separate from live entries.
• Review form experience: Validate how forms behave during testing so you can review the user experience and address potential user errors.

Best for

• WordPress site owners using Formidable Forms
• Developers troubleshooting complex forms
