Restrict Content Pro - bbPress

Membership sites can use forums for member discussions, support, and community spaces. This plugin lets site admins control access to bbPress forums and topics according to membership level, so different groups can have access to different areas. It suits sites that want to offer exclusive discussions or private support forums as part of their membership.

Access rules cover both viewing and posting. Admins can restrict who may read forum content, start threads, or reply, with permissions based on membership status. These controls allow a site to set up tiered forum access, giving membership levels different permissions within its bbPress community.

Features

• Restrict forum viewing: Set which membership levels can access bbPress forums, so forum visibility can vary across different member groups.
• Control topic access: Restrict access to bbPress topics by membership level, keeping selected discussions available to the intended members.
• Limit new threads: Choose which membership levels may create new forum threads, giving admins control over who can start discussions.
• Manage replies: Set posting permissions by membership level to control which members can reply within bbPress forums.
• Set tiered forum access: Give different membership levels distinct forum permissions, allowing a site to organize community access by tier.
• Show access messages: Display personalized messages to non-members or lower-tier members who try to access restricted forums.
