Overview

Resetting a WordPress site manually can involve removing content and configurations one item at a time. WP Reset PRO offers site-wide, selective, and complete reset options, so you can choose the scope of a cleanup. Selective controls cover areas such as plugins, themes, and custom tables, making the plugin useful for preparing a site for testing or returning a development environment to a clean state.

The plugin also provides automated and manual database snapshots as restore points, along with an emergency recovery console for accessing the dashboard when a site has a severe failure. Cleanup tools cover custom post types, orphaned child objects, users, media, and database optimization. White-labeling and developer tools make it a fit for freelancers and agencies working on client sites, as well as site owners handling their own maintenance.

Features

  • Site-wide reset: Reset the WordPress site to its default state with a one-click site-wide option, useful when you need to start testing from a clean setup.
  • Selective cleanup: Choose specific site areas to reset, including plugins, themes, or custom tables, while leaving other parts of the site untouched.
  • Complete reset mode: Use the complete reset option to wipe a WordPress installation and start fresh without remnants of its previous configurations or content.
  • Database snapshots: Create database snapshots automatically or on demand, giving you restore points to use when changes need to be rolled back.
  • Emergency recovery console: Access the WordPress dashboard through the emergency recovery console when a severe site failure prevents normal access.
  • Site cleanup tools: Clean up custom post types, orphaned child objects, users, and media, or run the database optimization tool.
  • White-label controls: Customize the plugin branding on client projects, a useful option for freelancers and agencies managing WordPress sites.
