Overview
BBQ Pro filters incoming traffic for suspicious URIs containing patterns such as base64_, eval(, and .exec(. Its firewall rules target threats including SQL injections, executable file uploads, directory traversal attacks, and user-ID phishing. The plugin runs in the background, giving WordPress site owners a way to filter harmful requests as they reach their site.
Site owners can edit, add, disable, or remove rules that target URIs, user agents, and IP addresses. Pattern testing lets them check basic, advanced, and custom rules before applying them. The plugin also provides blocked-request email alerts, custom messages, redirects and HTTP status codes, plus statistics showing hit counts per pattern and bar graphs.
