Overview
When a site is being prepared or temporarily taken offline, visitors need a clear message instead of an unavailable page. This plugin lets you display a coming-soon or maintenance page while work is underway. Choose a ready-made design and customize it without a page builder, then use a countdown timer to show visitors when the site or feature is expected to be available.
The page can collect visitor email addresses during a launch or maintenance period. For maintenance, the plugin sends a 503 response and a Retry-After header to indicate that the site is temporarily unavailable. A control panel setting lets you switch the page on or off, and access controls let site admins and selected user roles bypass it while they work.
Features

Changelog
Version 1.12.0
- Fixed An activation link opened while new accounts wait makes no account. On a network, wp-activate.php made the account in an activation link and only then showed your page. While your page covers the whole site and new accounts are refused, it now shows your page before anything is made, and the link works once your page comes down. WordPress runs only network-activated plugins on that page, so the plugin needs to be network-activated for it.
