SearchWP WP Job Manager Integration

Basic job board search may leave details in listing descriptions and custom fields out of search results. This plugin connects SearchWP with WP Job Manager and indexes job listing information across descriptions, custom fields, taxonomies, and metadata. Candidates can search using more of the details employers include in each opening.

The integration fits WordPress sites that use WP Job Manager to publish job listings and want more control over search results. Site owners can customize the search algorithm and manually promote or demote specific listings. Live Ajax search can display job suggestions as visitors type, while SearchWP results are protected from being overridden by WP Job Manager.

Features

• Detailed listing indexing: SearchWP can index job descriptions, custom fields, taxonomies, and metadata, bringing more listing details into the information candidates can search.
• Customizable search algorithm: Adjust the search algorithm for job listings to shape how results are matched and presented to job seekers.
• Live search suggestions: Ajax instant search can show job suggestions as visitors type, giving candidates a view of matching listings while they enter a query.
• Control listing position: Manually promote or demote specific job listings to control where selected opportunities appear in search results.
• Search trend analytics: Review analytics about visitor searches and search behavior to understand what job seekers look for on your board.
• SearchWP results protection: The integration prevents WP Job Manager from overriding SearchWP results, preserving the results returned by SearchWP.
