SearchWP Modal Search Form

The plugin gives visitors a popup or full-screen search interface they can open from different areas of a WordPress site. Add the form through a Gutenberg block or shortcode, or place it in a navigation menu. This makes site search available near the content and navigation visitors already use.

Visitors can see search results as they type, with results powered by Ajax. Site owners can adjust the modal appearance using built-in templates that inherit the theme’s styling, and control result order by weighting keywords. A scroll-disable option keeps the page from scrolling while the full-screen modal is open.

Features

• Flexible form placement: Insert a search popup with a Gutenberg block or shortcode, or add it to a WordPress navigation menu.
• Live search results: Show search results as visitors type, using Ajax to display suggestions within the search experience.
• Full-screen modal: Open search in a full-screen modal, with an option to disable page scrolling while the modal is displayed.
• Theme-based templates: Use built-in modal templates that inherit the site's theme styling to shape the popup's appearance.
• Adjust result order: Weight search results by keyword to influence which matching content appears higher in the results.
