Profile Builder - Field Visibility Add-on

Different user roles may need different profile information, and some fields should be editable only by administrators. This add-on lets site administrators set visibility rules for profile fields based on user roles. Users see the fields that apply to them, while administrators can retain control over information that should not be changed by other users.

The add-on works with Profile Builder Pro and supports managing multiple roles through a single Edit Profile Form, instead of maintaining separate forms for each group. Administrators can choose where Extra Fields appear, including the Registration Form, the default WordPress Edit Profile in the back end, or the Edit Profile form. It also works with Extra Field Types created in Profile Builder Basic or Pro.

Features

• Role-based field visibility: Set which profile fields appear based on the logged-in user's role, so different groups can see the information relevant to them.
• Administrator-only fields: Restrict specific profile fields to administrators, keeping those fields out of view for other users.
• Admin-controlled editing: Let users and administrators see selected fields while allowing only administrators to edit them.
• Choose field locations: Place Extra Fields on the Registration Form, the default WordPress Edit Profile in the back end, or the Edit Profile form.
• Support for Extra Field Types: Use Extra Field Types created in Profile Builder Basic or Pro as part of your user profiles.
• One form for multiple roles: Manage different user roles through one dynamic Edit Profile Form, with fields shown according to each user's role.

Best for
