Paid Memberships Pro - Gift Aid Add On

UK-based charities and membership organizations can use this add-on to collect Gift Aid declarations as supporters make a donation or sign up for a membership. The declaration option appears during checkout, giving eligible donors a way to opt in as part of the payment process.

Gift Aid declaration details are stored with the related membership or donation, and Gift Aid statuses can be viewed in Paid Memberships Pro membership and payment dashboards. The add-on also supports one-time and recurring donations, with customizable checkbox text and messaging to explain the option to donors.

Features

• Checkout declarations: Present a Gift Aid declaration during donation or membership checkout so eligible UK donors can choose to opt in as they complete their payment.
• Linked declaration records: Store Gift Aid declarations with the related membership or donation, keeping donor opt-in details connected to the relevant payment.
• One-time and recurring gifts: Collect Gift Aid declarations for both one-time and recurring donations, supporting different ways donors contribute.
• Dashboard status views: View and manage Gift Aid statuses in the Paid Memberships Pro membership and payment dashboards.
• Customizable checkout text: Adjust the Gift Aid checkbox and accompanying message to match your site’s branding and explain the option to donors.
• Offsite checkout handling: Keep a member’s Gift Aid opt-in from being overwritten when checkout is completed through an offsite gateway such as PayPal Standard.
