MB User Meta

WordPress user profiles provide a limited set of information by default. MB User Meta lets you add fields for the details your site needs, from broker contact details and project portfolios to seller locations and verification statuses. Use it on community, directory, and commerce sites where user profiles need to hold more than basic account information.

The plugin uses the native WordPress user meta API to handle custom field data, and it follows the Meta Box syntax used for other content types. This gives developers a consistent way to define user profile fields. Custom fields can also serve as a source for author fields in block bindings.

Features

• Custom profile fields: Add extra fields to WordPress user profiles to collect information beyond the standard username, email address, and bio.
• Multiple field types: Choose from a range of field types and options for details such as addresses, contact information, verification statuses, and avatars.
• Native user meta: The plugin uses the WordPress user meta API, allowing custom field data to work with existing WordPress functions and third-party plugins.
• Meta Box syntax: Define user fields with the same Meta Box syntax used for other content types, giving developers a consistent approach to field setup.
• Familiar admin interface: Manage custom user fields through an interface designed to follow the familiar WordPress UI.
• Author field bindings: Use the block bindings source for author fields to connect author information with custom user profile data.
