MemberPress Registration Restrictions

Membership sites sometimes need to limit signups to a particular group or prevent registrations from certain sources. This add-on lets site owners define eligibility rules for their MemberPress registration process, helping them manage access to content, courses, and online communities according to their needs.

Set rules using IP addresses or ranges, email domains, specific email addresses, and minimum age requirements. For example, a site can limit registration to people using an approved email domain or set an age threshold for an age-restricted community. Email and domain checks are case-insensitive, so capitalization does not affect validation.

Features

• IP address rules: Allow or block registrations from specific IP addresses or ranges to control which network sources can sign up.
• Email domain filtering: Limit registrations to people using email addresses from approved domains, such as an educational domain for a student group.
• Specific email controls: Allow or block signups from individual email addresses to manage access for selected people.
• Minimum age requirements: Set a minimum age during signup for communities with age-related registration requirements.
• Case-insensitive checks: Email address and domain restriction checks ignore capitalization, so different letter cases are treated consistently.
• MemberPress Pro add-on: The add-on is designed for MemberPress Pro sites and applies registration rules within a MemberPress setup.

Best for

• MemberPress sites for employee training
