Gravity Perks Pay Per Word

For services where the length of a submission affects its cost, a standard form may not show users how their word count changes the total. Gravity Perks Pay Per Word calculates charges from text-based Gravity Forms fields, giving users a live price as they type. It can suit proofreading, writing, classified ads, content submissions, and other forms where words determine the charge.

The add-on works with Paragraph and Post Body fields, along with other Gravity Forms textarea fields. Set a base price that includes a minimum word count, then apply word limits to guide submissions or set a pricing cap. It uses Gravity Forms word-count functionality and supports rich text editors, multiple currencies, and PHP filters and hooks for adjustments to supported fields, counts, and calculations.

Features

• Live cost calculations: Costs update as users type into supported text fields, so the form can display the charge based on the current word count.
• Text field support: Calculate charges from Paragraph, Post Body, and other textarea fields in Gravity Forms.
• Included word count: Set a base price that covers a specified minimum number of words before additional word-based charges apply.
• Word count limits: Set limits on the number of words users can submit through Pay Per Word fields.
• Currency formatting: Display calculated prices with support for multiple currencies, including non-US and Euro currencies.
• Developer customization: Use PHP filters and hooks to adjust supported field types, word counts, and price calculations for specific form needs.
