Give Text-to-Give

Give Text-to-Give gives nonprofits another way to collect donations through their WordPress site. Supporters text a donation amount to a dedicated number, register, and confirm their gift by SMS. The add-on connects this process with GiveWP donation forms, so organizations can offer text-based giving alongside their existing forms.

Organizations can tailor text responses and prompts to suit their messaging. After registering, donors can give again by sending another donation amount by text. This setup can fit fundraising campaigns and events where supporters may want to contribute from their phones, without filling out a donation form on a webpage.

Features

• SMS donations: Supporters text a donation amount to a dedicated number, then register and confirm their gift through the text-message flow.
• GiveWP form connection: Connect text-to-give functionality with GiveWP donation forms, including forms that are already in use.
• Twilio messaging: The add-on uses Twilio's messaging platform to handle text exchanges between the organization and its donors.
• Stripe processing: Stripe processes donations made through the text-to-give flow, alongside Twilio's messaging service.
• Custom SMS prompts: Adjust text responses and prompts to reflect your organization's voice as donors move through the donation process.
• Repeat text gifts: After registering, donors can make another contribution by texting a new donation amount.
