GeoDirectory Ajax Duplicate Alert

Duplicate listings can add clutter to a directory and leave administrators with records to review and clean up. GeoDirectory Ajax Duplicate Alert checks new submissions against existing entries as users fill out a listing. It can check titles, addresses, ZIP or postal codes, phone numbers, and email addresses, then display an alert when it finds a possible match.

The checks run through Ajax, so users receive feedback without a page reload. Administrators can turn checks on or off for supported fields and set a message for each field or use a general alert. Sites using custom post types with the Custom Post Type add-on can set separate duplicate-check options and messages for each post type.
