FacetWP - Time Since

Visitors often need a quick way to find recent content among a larger set of posts or listings. FacetWP – Time Since adds filtering by a defined time interval, so people can narrow results to items from a recent period or another timeframe you choose. It suits sites where publication or event dates help visitors decide what to view.

The facet works with WordPress date fields, including custom fields formatted as YYYY-MM-DD, and uses the timezone configured in WordPress settings when calculating intervals. As an add-on facet for FacetWP, it fits sites that already use FacetWP to filter content, including blogs, stores, event listings, recipe collections, and real estate sites.

Features

• Filter by time interval: Set a timeframe such as the past week or last 30 days so visitors can narrow results by how recently content was published or modified.
• Use WordPress date fields: Filter using post dates, modified dates, or custom date fields formatted as YYYY-MM-DD.
• Respect site timezone: Time interval calculations follow the timezone configured in WordPress settings, keeping date-based filtering aligned with the site's locale.
• Choose facet display options: UI type settings provide display options for presenting the time-based facet to visitors.
• Works as a FacetWP facet: Add the time-based facet to a FacetWP filtering setup alongside other facets, such as checkboxes, sliders, and dropdowns.
• Filter varied site content: Use time-based filtering for posts, products, event dates, recipe collections, real estate listings, and other date-sensitive content.

Best for
