FacetWP - Submit button

FacetWP normally updates results as visitors change filters. This add-on gives them control over when those selections are applied, so they can choose several facets and submit them together. It suits sites where visitors benefit from setting their search criteria before viewing results, including directories, stores, recipe collections, and other content listings.

You can place facets on one page, such as a homepage or landing page, then direct visitors to a separate results page. The add-on carries their selected facet data to that destination, preserving their choices for the results view. It also supports custom destination URLs and gives developers hooks and filters for adjusting submit behavior.

Features

• Manual filter submission: Visitors can select facets and submit them when ready, instead of having results refresh automatically after each change.
• Cross-page filter transfer: Pass selected facet data from a filter page to a separate results page while retaining visitors' choices.
• Custom destination URLs: Set the destination URL where visitors see filtered results after submitting their selected facets.
• Facet type support: Use the submit button with facet types including checkboxes, dropdowns, sliders, date ranges, star ratings, and maps.
• Developer customization: Use hooks and filters to customize submit button behavior for projects with more specific requirements.
• Disable automatic refresh: Turn off FacetWP's automatic refresh behavior and let visitors apply their selections through a submit action.
