ZF WordPress Category Search

A broad search can return content from many parts of a site, which can make it harder for visitors to find a specific post or product. ZF WordPress Category Search lets visitors focus their searches by category, tag, author, date range, or price range. It also supports custom taxonomies and post types, making it suitable for sites with varied content.

Site owners can choose how category options appear, including tabs, radio buttons, and dropdown menus. The plugin also provides tab sliders and icon popovers, plus auto-suggest search. Search boxes can be placed with a widget or shortcode, and dark or light skins are available to suit the site's appearance.

Features

• Category tab slider: Display search categories in a tab slider, giving visitors a tab-based way to choose what they want to search.
• Icon popovers for tabs: Add icons to category tabs so visitors can use visual cues when choosing a search category.
• Flexible category controls: Present category choices as tabs, radio buttons, or dropdown menus to fit the search interface.
• Auto-suggest search: Show search suggestions as visitors enter a query, helping them refine what they are looking for.
• Custom content filters: Search by categories, tags, authors, date ranges, and price ranges, with support for custom taxonomies and post types.
