Total Recipe Generator (Recipe Gutenberg Block)

Recipe posts often need more structure than a standard block of text. This plugin provides a Gutenberg block for adding ingredients, steps, and nutrition information in an organized recipe layout. Readers can follow the instructions and find details such as nutrition facts within the post.

The plugin adds recipe structured data, including Schema microdata and JSON-LD, along with recipe-related meta tags and internal links. Its responsive layout adapts recipe content to different screen sizes. Developers can override core template files in their themes to customize how recipes appear on a site.

Features

• Gutenberg recipe block: Create and manage recipe content in the WordPress block editor, with dedicated areas for ingredients, cooking steps, and recipe details.
• Recipe structured data: Add Schema microdata and JSON-LD to recipe posts, giving search engines structured information about the recipe.
• Nutrition facts: Include nutritional information with each recipe so readers can review details about the food they are preparing.
• Responsive recipe layout: Present recipes in a layout designed to adapt to different screen sizes, keeping ingredients and instructions organized.
• Theme template overrides: Customize core recipe template files from within a theme, giving developers control over how recipe content is presented.
