Easy Digital Downloads - Currency Converter

Shoppers may find it harder to assess a product when its price is shown in an unfamiliar currency. This plugin converts Easy Digital Downloads product prices so visitors can view them in a currency they recognize. It can detect a visitor’s currency based on their location, giving store owners a way to present familiar amounts to international shoppers.

Visitors can also select a currency through the responsive switcher. Converted amounts are shown for reference, while checkout and order completion remain in the store’s base currency. This setup suits Easy Digital Downloads stores serving customers in multiple regions that want to display converted product prices without changing the currency used for orders.

Features

• Currency conversion: Converts Easy Digital Downloads product prices using exchange rates from Open Exchange Rates, so shoppers can view amounts in another currency.
• Visitor currency detection: Detects a visitor’s currency based on their location and displays converted product prices in that currency.
