WooCommerce Product Sample

Shoppers may want to test a product before committing to a full order. WooCommerce Product Sample lets your store offer samples for simple, variable, virtual, and downloadable products. Samples can be enabled across the store or selected for specific categories, products, and variations, giving you control over which items customers can try.

Manage samples alongside your regular WooCommerce products, with separate stock, sample order limits, and sample-specific tax and shipping classes. Add sample buttons to product pages, shop listings, and category pages, then customize their text. Samples are identified in the cart and checkout, and customizable email reminders can prompt customers to order the full product.

Features

• Free or paid samples: Let customers order samples for free or as paid items, giving your store options for how it offers product trials.
• Flexible sample availability: Enable or disable samples across the store, by category, for individual products, or for specific product variations.
• Sample order buttons: Display customizable sample buttons on product pages, shop listings, and category pages, using button text that fits your store.
• Separate sample stock: Track sample inventory independently from full product stock so sample orders do not reduce the stock assigned to regular products.
• Order and shipping controls: Set maximum sample quantities globally or by variation, and assign tax and shipping classes to samples globally or per product.
• Follow-up email reminders: Send customizable email reminders after customers receive samples, prompting them to place an order for the full product.

Best for
