Overview
Video content can be harder for search engines to discover when it is embedded in a page or hosted on your site. AIOSEO – Video Sitemap scans WordPress content for videos and creates an XML sitemap with video details, giving search engines a dedicated way to find those videos. It detects videos from YouTube, Vimeo, and self-hosted files.
The plugin updates the video sitemap as content changes and includes controls for choosing which content types and videos appear in it. It also adds video schema markup and can create video thumbnails and set the priority of video URLs.
