AffiliateWP Force Pending Referrals

Affiliate programs can receive referrals that need checking before a commission is approved. This plugin keeps each new referral pending instead of approving it automatically. Site owners and program managers can review referral details and decide whether each one should be approved before it is paid out.

The plugin adds a manual review step to an existing AffiliateWP workflow. This gives program managers a chance to check referrals for accuracy, legitimacy, compliance, or possible duplication before approving commissions. It is suited to sites that want more oversight of affiliate referrals and payouts.

Features

• Pending by default: Every new referral remains in pending status rather than being approved automatically when it is created.
• Manual referral review: Review new referrals by hand before approving them, so commission decisions can be based on checked referral activity.
• Check before payout: Keep referrals awaiting review before commissions are paid, giving program managers a chance to verify each referral.
• Check referral legitimacy: Examine referrals for accuracy and legitimacy before approval, helping identify suspicious or duplicated activity.
• Works with AffiliateWP: The plugin works with existing AffiliateWP installations and adds pending referral review to an affiliate program's workflow.

Best for

• Affiliate program managers reviewing referrals
• Site owners checking commissions before payout
• Businesses focused on affiliate compliance
