EventOn Filters Plus Add-on

Busy calendars can make it hard for visitors to find events that match their interests. This add-on gives them filters for event types, times of day, and other categories, so they can narrow the calendar listing instead of scanning every entry. It suits sites that publish many events, as well as calendars focused on a particular topic or audience.

Filters can appear beside the calendar or in a bar at the top, with event type icons available in the fast filter bar. Visitors can search within filter lists to find specific terms, and long lists can show a limited set with a See All option. A lightbox-style filter interface provides another way to select terms, while the block-based calendar shortcode generator lets site owners configure filters in the admin area.

Features

• Filter by event details: Let visitors narrow calendar listings by event type, time of day, and other available filter categories.
• Side filter display: Place filters beside the calendar instead of in the traditional top bar to give visitors another way to browse.
• Fast filter bar: Add a filter bar to the calendar header that uses event type number one icons for quick filtering.
• Search filter terms: Give visitors a search field within each filter type to find specific terms in longer lists.
• Limit visible terms: Show only some filter terms at first, with a See All option that reveals the rest of the list.
• Lightbox filter selection: Present filter choices in a lightbox-style interface, giving visitors a pop-up option for selecting event filters.
• Calendar shortcode generator: Use the block-based generator in the admin area to add a calendar shortcode and configure its filters.
